Ethnomethodology: a theory designed to link individual-level interactions with broader society. Ethnomethodology emphasizes how individuals construct and defend their views of social reality. Different boundaries regarding acceptable and unacceptable behaviour. Reflexivity: process by which individuals think about a behaviour within its social context and give meaning to it.
