Planning a research project: your research goals, getting help, and managing time and resources. As a person who conducts the research, it is your task to organize the interaction with all people involved in a way that is friendly, efficient, and conducive to project goals. The scale of your research, its duration, and the final output will depend on its goal. Your supervisor will instruct you on how to complete your project, how to navigate your institution and academic, and how to achieve your broader professional goals. It is better to see research as a series of small tasks instead of one large project; this allows you to plan, check your progress, and develop further strategies. Work out a specific timetable and find out what resources are available for your research. Any research project will include a review of the literature, elaborating a research question, collecting evidence, and writing up the results.
