Immediately after finishing the play i was in a little bit of a shock, and a little disappointed but proud of simon. Part of me got so into the play that at the end i was so mad at bilodeau that part of me wanted simon to kill him. However, i know that by not killing him, that bilodeau must live his life feeling the guilt of saving simon and leaving vallier to die. Trying to understand the play within the play and how the two were connected really began to frustrate me and further confused me. It began making sense after i did some further research on the play and read the synopsis was when it started to make sense. Lastly one thing that gave me a bit of confusion was the countess, i didn"t read the description of the characters located at the beginning of the play, which is the reasoning for the confusion.
