Document Summary
Specific places provide the setting for people"s daily lives, from these settings specific events and changes occur. Places and regions are interdependent, each filling specialized roles in the ever changing networks of interaction. Most important aspects of interdependence between geographical scales are provided by the relationship between the local and the global. Law of geography everything is related to everything else, but near things are more related then are distant things . Distance is an aspect of this law, but connectivity is also important. Contact and interaction are dependent on channels of communication and transportation. Human geography provides ways of understanding places, regions and spatial relationships as the products of a series of interrelated forces that stem from nature, culture and individual human action. Most people are fascinated by different places, they know very little about them. Different places can foster different values, attitudes and behaviours, they can also make it difficult to understand and appreciate different settings as well.
