Memory for specific experiences from our life, which can include both episodic & semantic components. Experiencing a memory by using mental time travel is episodic memory. There are 2 additional characteristics of autobiographical memory: 1: we remember some events in our lives better than others. Autobiographical memories are multidimensional because they consist of spatial, emotional, & sensory components.
