The quick paced-ness of the city can be tiring and the collective thinking dulling to the mind. Lack of nature in the city -- nature is beneficial to the mind. Ex. studies show patients recover faster when they see trees outside their window. The natural environment does not take the same amount of cognitive power. Ex. central park was put in nyc for a reason. More biodiverse parks score higher on psychological well being when compared to parks that have the same bland trees. Concrete jungle can take a toll on our minds mentally and physically.
