Structure, amandha rohr lopes(2014) discussed how social media affect the social movement in terms of two typical circumstances, which are opportunity structures and mobilizing structures. The author presumed that different kinds of opportunity structures and social contexts within the social media promote the social movement. Social media may be brought into existence by series features which could form an interaction effect. In order to organize his argument, he collected many dependent variables, such as protests, inflation, mobile subscriptions and so on. Furthermore, he analyzed these data and provided graphs as well as other methods how he measured social media.
