People have 3 qualities that make them unusually difficult to study complexity. No 2 individuals ever do, say, think, feel exactly same thing under exactly same circumstances reactivity. People often think, feel, act one way when they are being observed & different way when they are not. Description of property in concrete, measurable terms instrument. Anything that can detect condition to which an operational definition refers. Goodness with which concrete event defines a property reliability. Tendency for instrument to produce same measurement whenever it"s used to measure same thing: power. Instrument"s ability to detect small magnitudes of property.
