Perceptions are a creative synthesis of impressions: flow of experience is a sequence of stages/levels. Begin w/ apprehension: process of individual impressions entering consciousness. Span of apprehension: how many apprehensions we could be aware of at once (~6) Emotion and volition (acts of the will) related: will is an emotional process.
