This week follows a similar format of connecting research and practice by presenting risk factors and the tools together, as well as highlighting differences between adults and adolescents. Continue framing these within your understanding of actuarial and spj approaches, the risk factors, and the assessment procedures. This week"s readings continue to present research on the risk factors for sexual violence for adults and adolescents that inform the risk assessment tools that will be presented in the lectures. Additionally, there is a reading that relates to a specific and unique predictor of sexual violence, sexual deviance. As you will discover, this risk factor is quite complex and ensuring that it is probative to a case requires multiple steps.
