Biological determinism: any theoreical explanaion of human behavior that focuses on the biological or geneic basis for that behavior. Humans are of the animal world but unique within it, human are the most lexible and adaptable of all species. Insinct: an inborn complex patern of behavior that must exist in every member of a species and, because it is embedded in the geneic code, cannot be overcome by force of will. There is litle evidence that human behavior is the result of insincts. Eugenics: irst developed by francis galton, a theory and later a social movement that believed in the improvement of the human species through selecive maing, used to jusify the forced sterilized 1,000s of people considered.
