Faith tells us god has entered our life, god reached out to us and calls us. When god communicates to us it is a revelation, he makes him available to us. Revelation = re-velare: lift the veil, to disclose, to uncover. The point of revelation is not to reveal facts and information. God is : loving, caring, concerned/compassionate, forgiving. Personal qualities are important: basis of the personal relationship to which god calls each one of us . We were created for god by god: he loves us, begs for our love. By revealing himself god wishes to make [us] capable of responding to him, and of knowing him, and of loving him far beyond [our] own natural capacity (ccc 52) God is found within us, he is our treasure, he is in our home, Theology is a journey of reflecting on our experiences, a search to discover god. : faith seeking understanding.
