Changing a normal sickness to something more fatal. Causes: increases anxiety, focus on symptoms, faulty interpretation of physical sensations, and then additional of physical symptoms. Client focus on long-term e ect of the disease, continue to seek more opinion of medical professionals, wide range of concerns.
