This was not the primary purpose but the medical treatment became incidental. This paper seeks to examine the elaboration of this phenomenon of medical tourism. For some, medical tourism has become the central theme in terms of touring creating a new niche in tourist industry. It has become an industry where people simultaneously go on vacation and get health care in a more conventional sense.
