All earth"s biotic and abiotic components with which we interact. Scientific, ethical, political, economic, and social relationships that shape our daily lives. Humans are a part of the natural world. Our definition of environment must include its legal, social, economic, and scientific aspects. Environment canada: enhance quality of natural environment, conserve renewable resources, protect water resources. International relations, politics, ethics, business management, economics, social equity, engineering, law enforcement all play a role in managing and protecting the environment. Interactions between humans and the physical and biological. Our actions modify our environment, whether we mean to or not. Actions have enriched our lives (longer lifespans, better health, mobility, leisure time), however, many have damaged the natural systems that sustain us. Air pollution, soil erosion, species extinction compromise the wellbeing of other organisms, pose risks to human life, and threaten our ability to build a society that will thrive in the long term.
