Insite has reduced instances of needle sharing an drug injecting in public place. No increase in drug trafficking or assaults, vehicle break in and car thefts have decreased. No overdose deaths have occurred at the facility. Number of addicts in detox programs increased by 30% Belief is that with insite addicts won"t hit bottom and will have no motivation to get clean. Increase in crime and public disorder did not occur.
