The microbe that causes aids resides in bodily uids that pass from person to person containing these uids. There is no cure or even a vaccine. It illustrates a very important distinction: it is transmitted through certain behaviours such as unsafe sex and needles from drugs. Today many of the leading cause of death and disease are related not to microbes but it is now lifestyle factors such as exercise, stress and poor diet. Health psychology: studying the relationship between the mind and the boys, as well as the ways in which these two components respond to challenges from the environment to produce either health or illness. They suggest that behaviours are correlated with life expectancy as it contributes to more than half of all premature deaths - those before the age 65. Models of the personality-illness connection stress is the subjective feeling produced by events that are uncontrollable or threatening.
