An age of conlict: mid to late 19th century and beginning of 20th again resulted in negaive stereotypes, custodial insituions and eugenics movement were popular. Humanizaion of people with cids: mid to late 20th century say many advances in medicine and educaion, deinsituionalizaion and normalizaion were encouraged, laws were passed, and court cases supported the rights of individuals with cid. Current perspecives: current and future areas that have been and will be legal issues, medical advances, educaional consideraions, and use of terminology.
