Cynic: pleasures from deceiving ppl, fact that they can toy with what his audience takes seriously. But may delude audience for their own good, good of community e. g. a doctor giving placebos. Cynicism and belief may believe they are magic but their work doesn"t really work ppl just have a strong belief. Performance: to refer to all the activity of an individual, which occurs during a period, marked by his continuous presence before a particular set of observers and which has some influence on the observers. Front: part of individual performance, which regularly functions in a general. & fixed fashion to define the situation for those who observe the performance. Expressive equipment intentionally or unwittingly employed by the individ during his performance. Personal front: all other expressive equipment (clothing; sex, age & racial characteristics, size looks etc. ) Manner warn us of interactional role.
