The demonic perspecive is the oldest of all known perspecives on deviance. It suggests that we look for the cause and cure of deviant behavior in the realm of supernatural. It is viewed as a transgression against the will of god (or the gods) 1) through temptaion & 2) through possession: the road of temptaion, is one in which we humans aforded some measure of choice. We can, in principle say no to satan (or whichever demonic igure)
