A body with excessive fat causes strain on the heart in its effort to push blood thorugh cappilaries that supply all the fat nutrients: diabetes: cvd leading cause of death for people with diabetes. People who are obese have a higher risk for diabetes. Women have a much lower chance of surviving heart attacks, part of this is due to lack of signs and symptoms in women. Ldl and total cholesterol in women rise after that age of 55, for men it stays the same. Recognizing heart disease in women: women do not show the recognizable symptoms that men do. They tend to have discomfort rather tha(cid:374) pai(cid:374), i(cid:374) fa(cid:272)t, (cid:373)ost (cid:449)o(cid:373)e(cid:374) first sig(cid:374) i(cid:374) a(cid:374)gi(cid:374)a (cid:449)hile for (cid:373)e(cid:374) it"s a (cid:373)yo(cid:272)ardial infarction. Womens symptoms tend to be much more vague such as: pain in the neck, jaw, arms, heaviness in the shoulder, back, stomach, out of breath, tired, sweating, nausea.
