The relationship we from with our primary caregiver is called attachment, and it is an innate behaviour. Cognitive how children think and how they develop. The conversations and interactions we have with other people help us develop cognitively. Sociocultural zone of proximal development = the zone of development that they can achieve, the maximum and the minimum. Based on two dimensions, we get four different parenting styles . Control setting rules, the degree to which you supervise and structure your children. You can be parentified if you were the easy child and your younger sibling is a difficult child, and the parents are stressed from that child, and so they ask you to do a lot of things for yourself. If there is low control, the other extreme would be the child might rebel. And then if you try to set limits later, the child might say no, ive never had control before, why do i need it now.
