Main conception human life has become less predictable, determined, stable, orderly and now more individualized and flexible in nature. Others saw a dichotomy between modern and traditional where the transitions had less age variation and were linear and universal. Concepts for changes in the life course: as we can see from the points above, there is a lack of precision in regard to concepts and data for observation. Institutionalization of life: refers to the process where normative and legal rules define the social and organization of human lives such as marriage, education and retirement. It (cid:272)a(cid:374) also refer to tra(cid:374)sitio(cid:374)s" such as entry to the labor market, leaving school, work positions. Individualization: persons gain greater control of their own lives, with a variety of life paths. This is where many of the concepts described above occur. Tests & hypotheses: a proper examination of the life course pattern changes should rely on detailed life history of various domains and birth cohorts.
