The powerful: are more likely to be not classified as deviant by those who are powerless whereas the powerful can say that others actions are deviant. Positive is associated with the sciences (chem, bio, physics) Constructionism is fundamental in the humanities (art, language and philosophy) Deviance: social construction an idea imputed by society to some behavior. Absolutism: it possesses some qualities that distinguish it from conventionality.
