Formal operaional: 11/12 to adulthood, reason in terms of theories and abstracions as well as concrete realiies, piaget believed that the basic mode of reasoning that characterizes the formal operaion stage is suiciently powerful to last a lifeime. The goal was to help the child accommodate his idea of clown to the concepts standard meaning: assimilaion and accommodaion mutually inluence each other.
