Structurally simplest: retina of eye (info from light receptors (cid:0) visual centres of brain) Somatosensory neuron brings sensory info from body (cid:0) spinal cord: connects directly to axon. Interneurons: association neuron (link sensory & motor); most of neurons of brain. Pyramidal cell 2 sets of dendrites (apex/sides of cell body); cerebral cortex: carries info from cortex (cid:0) brain & cord.
