Document Summary

The two circulation loops are hadley cells named after a 19th century british meteorologist was concerned with explaining the source of the trade winds. Also, the cells circulation delivers weather to the wettest and the driest places on earth: the ferrel cells are not as strong or consistent as the hadley cells but they are driven by the same processes. So, the hadley cells the strongest then it"s the ferrel cells and lastly the polar cells which are the weakest. {hadley>ferrel>polar: prevailing winds critically influence organisms and ecosystems because the wind redistribute heat and water from oceans to continents, coriolis effect- an action that produces a twist of the wind vectors with respect to the earth"s surface. Also, sometimes called the pseudo force (a fake force: temperature and precipitation are the biggest influences on where organisms live. Oceans influence nearby land masses by providing thermal inertia.
