Substanially more complex than it appears to be. Worldview to refer to a system of beliefs that are interconnected in something like the way the pieces of a jigsaw puzzle are interconnected. That is a worldview is not merely a collecion of separate, independent, unrelated belief but is instead an intertwined, interrelated, interconnected system of beliefs. Aristotelian worldview was dominant system of belief from about 300 bc to about ad: this worldview was based on a set of belief ariculated most clearly and thoroughly by aristotle. Aristotle held a large number of beliefs that are radically diferent from the beliefs we hold. Earth is located at the center of the universe. Earth is staionary that is, it neither orbits any other body such as the sun, nor spins on its axis. The moon and the planets and the sun revolve around the earth, compleing a revoluion about every 24 hours.
