AGAINST THE ONTOLOGICAL ARGUMENT
1. Now that we understand the meaning of the word ‘God, therefore God exists
2. God’ or ‘perfection’ literally means: that than which nothing greater can be
meant or thought
3. Since existence in thought and fact is greater than existence in thought alone,
4. If God exists in our thoughts, he must also exist in fact
5. Reply to these statements:
a.Some people have believed God to be a body
b. Some peoples may not understand it to mean ‘that than which nothing
greater can be meant
c.But then, nothing thus defined the existence of God
