Argument: multiculturalism has nothing to do with the successful immigration policy, and nothing to do with the relatively successful integration of immigrants. Multiculturalism is a way in which migrants are incorporated into their new. Immigration is the movement of people from one place to another country. Within europe, multiculturalism has come under great deal of criticism. Multiple leaders saying it has failed and it is dead. These comments upset canadians a lot (cid:498)multiculturalism is a key factor driving canada"s success at citizenship integration(cid:499) globe and mail. Encourages members of ethnic groups to look inward. Critics: are attacking multiculturalism as it would be if that term meant anything corresponding to what a reasonable person could imagine it mean. Supporters: describing multiculturalism as it is in this country. It has everything to do with integration and not assimilation. Multiculturalism in canada is consistently popular: according to 85% believe it is important.
