Thesis: must take a position on the prompt. Address the overall theme that precedes all three questions. But at the same time also addresses all three of those questions. Have to be adaptable and able to overcome our natural habits. A takeaway from the book: circumstances are important and no one solution works all the time, goes back to adaptability. He does support morality but not on the basis of it being against reason. We would need religion and the ideology behind it. But he does say that content of some religions are dangerous. Make us lazy or to always put fault with someone else. He has given the suggestion that we can"t get rid of religion. We have to learn how to work with it. He thinks most of us can"t be convinced out of religion. People find a sense of purpose through religion. People want to believe in a meaning to life, they need saviors and redemption.
