Secondary gain: secondary reinforcer (money) gives you access to primary o o reinforcement: this disorder can be comorbid with substance abuse. Implosive or flooding therapy: get the client to face their fear and anxiety head on. Malingering: not a dsm disorder, pretending to have a disorder (it can be conscious or subconscious, dementia: mostly occur elder people, people who are actually dementing won"t seek help. If they do, it could be a form of malingering, when it becomes dysfunctional, then it might be considered pathological.
