Many addictions, to drugs, sex, internet, food, etc. Addiction is about filling the emptiness inside, from the outside. Addicted people are often abused in their lives. So they don"t go for the food nearby. Mice, knocked out endorphins, have no attachment. Addiction to drugs act on the morphine system.
