If the accused is found unfit the court may order them to be detained or treated without consent for up to 60 days: not criminally responsible by reason of mental disorder (ncr) If the accused is found ncr, the court may make 1 of 3 dispositions: absolute discharge, conditional discharge, detention in hospital. Must be detained: court can revoke designation if they believe the accused no longer threatens public, mental health and sentencing.
