Why we can"t make ourselves do what we want to do. The belief that all members of each race possess characteristics or abilities specific to that race, especially so as to distinguish it as inferior or superior to another race or races. Prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism directed against someone of a different race based on the belief that one"s own race is superior. When an asian american is made to write their race on a test, they do better because of the stereotypes. Past 25 years, there"s been a huge decline in personal savings. As recent as 1994, the savings was nearly 5% Average american family has 6 credit cards, average american family has ,000 credit card debt. 7/10 households use cc to purchase food, utilities and clothing. Ariely says: the road to hell is paved with good intentions, we promise to save for retirement but we spend the money on a vacation ect.
