Critique: reveals incomplete picture of person"s abilities by measuring only the products of previous learning. Standardization: development of norms (bell curve) and rigorously controlled testing procedures. Dynamic testing: standard testing followed up by the examiner giving the subject feedback, and then measuring their ability to improve and respond to feedback.
