Clinical assessment and diagnosis is central to the field of psychopathology and to the treatment of psychological disorders. Assessing psychological disorders get an overall functioning of the individual and focus on issues that seem relevant funnel analogy. Assessments must have three key features: reliability degree to which a measurement is consistent. Applies to procedures of testing, scoring, and evaluating data. These three are important for all forms of psychological assessment. Some procedures include clinical interview and within the interview, a mental status exam, physical examination, behavioral observation, and assessment, and psychological tests. Gather all sorts of information like past interpersonal and social history, all types of attitudes, emotions, and identification like sexual, religious, and upbringing.
