Low vision: after correction can see 20/70-20/200 vision. A snellen chart which has rows of letters that get smaller and smaller can be used to test vision from 20feet away. Hereditary conditions, infectious diseases, cancer, injuries, premature birth, and various environmental conditions. Retinopathy or prematurity: a genetic disorder that was widely believed to be cause by the over administration of oxygen to premature babies in an attempt to save their life. However, it seems to be more complicated then that and can also be associated with low birth weight.
