Multifactorial causes e. g. cancer, heart disease: develop treatments. Lifestyle chances diet, smoking, exercise: e. g. E. g. mania norepinephrine: too little of a neurotransmitter. E. g. anxiety gaba: too few or too many receptors. Low levels = anxiety disorders: inhibit reuptake.
