In certain situations, the appropriateness of advertising is questionable this issue has been debated for years in the context of school. Its easy to say that the commercialization of schools is a bad thing but as school budgets shrink, it might be harder to persuade a teacher. If a math teacher has a choice to pay for the paper himself or herself in order to print out an exam, or let gatorade cover the cost its an easy decision. Just about every captive place where advertising occurs it creates a controversy that eventually can be boiled down to the issue of whether the funds generated by the ad are worth the hassle of being exposed to the ad.
