The ability to think enables ppl to act reflectively rather than just behave unreflectively . Ppl must often construct and guide what they do, rather than just release it response. The capacity for thought must be shaped and refined in the process of social interaction, esp socialisation. Socialization is a more dynamic process that allows ppl to develop the ability to think, to develop in distinctively human ways . It is not simply a one-way process in which the actor receives info, but it is a dynamic process in which the actor shapes and adapts the info to their own needs : negotiation. Interaction is the process in which the ability to think is both developed and expressed .
