Maturation reform: the fact that people are less likely to commit a crime a they grow older. 2. formaiton of various types of social bonds means that the individuals have other people who depend on them to make the right choices. 3. this reform involves a more socially responsible trajectory of human agency. Young people are neither children nor adults and may not be fully committed to conventional values.
