We are gi(cid:448)e(cid:374) some background of the issues between palestinians and israelis and how many people have tried to bring about non-violent solutions through politics, diplomacy, culture and the arts but to no avail. Yair dalal has tried to bring about a new solution to bring both the jews and arab people together rather than separate them. He believes that these two populations have so much in common that there really should(cid:374)(cid:859)t (cid:271)e a(cid:374)y reaso(cid:374) as to (cid:449)hy they argue or fight alo(cid:374)g (cid:272)ultural ide(cid:374)tity li(cid:374)es. Dalal ide(cid:374)tifies hi(cid:373)self as a(cid:374) (cid:862)ara(cid:271) israeli je(cid:449)(cid:863) a(cid:374)d is a (cid:373)aster o(cid:374) a popular arab instrument (the oud) and the violin which is a traditional jewish instrument.
