All learners have unique preferences fro receiving and processing new information. Learning style: the preferences of the learner. Dunn and dunn learning styles are assessed by 5 areas. Instructional environment preferences: sound, light, temperature and class design. Emotionality preferences: including motivation, persistence, responsibility and structure. Sociological preferences: for individual, pair, peer, team, adult, or varied relations. Physiological preferences: regarding perception, intake, time and mobility. Psychological preferences: analytic mode, hemisphericity and action. Global learners: learn easier when rst presented with big picture and then concentrate on details. Analytic learners: prefer to have new information presented in step-by-step, sequential manner that builds toward the main concept. Person"s learning style has many variables and the easiest one for motor skill learning is perceptual mode. Perceptual mode is the way information is received and processed. Teachers should consider 4 types of learner. Visual learners: understand new concepts better when explanations include demonstrations, models and use of mirrors.
