Found no relation between psychological disorder and suicide rates. Looked at places with high psychological disorders and seen there were low rates of suicide. Social solidarity (6): the degree to which group members share beliefs and values and the intensity and frequency of their interaction: more people shared beliefs the more social solidarity existed. Values (6): ideas about what is good or bad, right or wrong. Theory (6): a tentative explanation of some a aspect of social life that states how and why certain facts are related: suicide rates decline social solidarity increases. Altruistic suicide (6): occurs i settings that exhibit very high levels of social solidarity according to durkheim. In other words altruistic suicide results from norms very tightly governing behavior: high solidarity settings.
