ANTH 2100 Chapter : Untitled15.docx
Document Summary
Henry and i were in the mausoleum, standing over the long table, him holding a nose, me inspecting an ear. We had been there for several hours already, and no matter how many noses or ears we went through, none seemed to be right for eloise; or so henry claimed. I was thinking about what my father had told me the night before, about love. I found myself looking at henry every now and then, afraid he might lose it. This whole project, or whatever you"d like to call it, wasn"t going well. I knew henry became frustrated at times, not being able to complete anything because nothing ever seemed to be good enough to him. It was time consuming, this task of making eloise whole again; i wasn"t sure how long i could hold back, how long i could stand around while we cut off limbs, trying for something completely futile.
