Female: ovaries paired, [on each side of oesophagus, oviduct [on each side of dorsal mesengery]; joining ostium [single median opening] [along oviduct] thick-walled shell gland (secretes thin membrane around eggs] Heart: examine: sinus venosus, atrium, muscular ventricle, conus arteriosus, ventral aorta, afferent. Branchial arteries: ventricle: thick & muscular; atrium soft & thin. Venous system: ducts of cuvier (2, pass blood to ventricle, anterior cardial sinuses (pass blood to ducts of cuvier)
