Class turbellaria free living with a gut; covered with cilia. Class trematoda are parasitic plathelminthes with a gut and thick syncytial tegument with suckers. Class cestoda parasitic; no gut; thick syncytial tegument. Dugesia (planaria free living flatworm: cilia on the ventral surface over a layer of secreted slime; coord muscle contraction mmt, digestive system incomplete; feeds by wrapping around prey, everting the pharynx into the prey (extracellular digestion). Partially digested pieces of food are sucked in through pharynx: exretory: hypertonic to env"t; flame cells | pump out more dilute urine than body fluids, eyespot, auricle, probiscis [everted pharynx], pharynx sheath, mouth, intestine.
