Plan: a detailed design for getting something done; the way one is about to go doing something in a particular/specific way; a decision made in advance. Purpose: the reason behind doing something; why; the intention/objective. Play: engaging in an enjoyable activity; recreation; engaging in a game. Position: the location of something or someone; a particular way of action. Strategy is seen as both a plan as well as a purpose. The end can be defined in terms of those that are measurable and the resources that are gained and collected in order to achieve the specific strategy. Organizations can set objectives that can incorporate a specific percentage, monetary amount, quality and/or quantity, adding or removing something, increasing or decreasing something, changing or altering something. The, the business/company develops a plan, including hrm programs. The goals are set by senior management and then approved by the board.
