Echo demonstrated left ventricular (lv) function grade 2 (normal is grade 1, most severe is grade 4) with apical hypokinesis** (ejection fraction estimated at 45% - normal is 70%). Signs of mild pulmonary congestion (heart failure) during his admission requiring oral furosemide to resolve.
